Welcome to the website of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church. We hope this website will help to introduce you to our congregation.
Please join us for worship on Sunday morning or at one of our other worship opportunities. We pray your visit will be a blessing to you, as together we receive God’s gifts of forgiveness of sins, life, and salvation in His Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Yours in Christ,

Living in Faith toward God
Our Lord is the Lord who serves. Jesus Christ came into the flesh not to be served, but to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many (Matthew 20:28). Our Lord serves us today as He comes to us in His holy Word and Sacraments. In Holy Baptism, He claims us as His own, rescuing us from sin, death, and the devil. In the Lord’s Supper, He gives us His very body and blood to eat and to drink for our forgiveness and salvation. Called to faith by the Holy Spirit, we gather together each week to hear God’s Word and to receive His gifts.
Living in Love Toward One Another
Having blessed us with His gifts of life and salvation, the Lord sends us out to serve others with the good news of Jesus Christ. Love and service are a part of the Christian life. God does not need our help, but our neighbor does. Whenever we show mercy to one of the least of our neighbors, we show it to the Lord.
The Lord gives us His forgiveness and salvation freely as a gift through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8). Even faith is a gift, given by the Holy Spirit though the Word and Sacraments. Yet, just as a tree naturally bears fruit, so, too, saving faith in Christ produces a harvest of good works that benefit our neighbor. At St. Peter, we seek to show forth and share our faith as we serve one another, our community, and our world with the same love and forgiveness that we have received from God.
Living Joyfully as God’s Children
As God’s forgiven and redeemed children, we live joyfully in the gifts He has given us. Therefore, our social life at St. Peter is very important. We gather regularly on Sundays and throughout the week to enjoy and deepen the friendships we have in Jesus — friendships that will last for eternity.
